Tiered Seating Installation

Client: Birmingham Transport Hub

Project Date: April 2026

Objective & Background
The Birmingham depot aimed to modernize its 24/7 logistics hub by replacing outdated storage with a high-spec, heavy-duty system. The primary goal was to eliminate “key chaos” and the “charging scramble,” where lost manual keys and devices left on communal benches caused frequent delays, equipment damage, and administrative bottlenecks.
Installation
To ensure zero operational downtime, the rollout was completed over two weekends without interrupting vehicle departures. The new units feature smart badge access using existing site IDs, integrated power ports for internal device charging, and reinforced industrial-grade steel finished with an anti-bacterial coating for improved hygiene and durability.
Result
The upgrade has streamlined the depot’s workflow, resulting in faster shift changes and total security for high-value gear. With devices now stored in powered, secure homes and manual keys eliminated, the Birmingham team is more organized and energized, with a workspace built to handle the high-traffic demands of the road ahead.
